Privacy Policy

Skyward Productions (skyward.org) is a small, independent site I run. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: I collect very little; I use it only to run this site and send the emails you asked for, and I do not sell it.

Skyward Notes (email list)

When you sign up for Skyward Notes, I collect your first name and email address. After you sign up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription; you will not be added to the list until you do.

I use this information only to send Skyward Notes and to address you by name. MailPoet, an email plugin that runs on this site, manages the list. Emails are delivered through MailPoet’s sending service, which processes your address in order to deliver them.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can use it at any time, and you will stop receiving Skyward Notes.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, subject, and message. I use them only to read and reply to your message. Contacting me does not add you to the email list.

Spam protection

To keep out spam, this site uses CleanTalk. When you submit a form, information such as your email address, IP address, and how the form was filled out may be sent to CleanTalk to check whether the submission is spam. CleanTalk may also set a small cookie for this purpose. You can read CleanTalk’s privacy policy for details.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Like most websites, it may set a few cookies that are needed for it to work, such as the spam-protection cookie above. Like most web servers, the server that hosts this site keeps standard logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Links to other sites

This site links to other sites, such as bookstores, music platforms, Facebook, and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Sharing your information

I do not sell, rent, or trade your information. It is shared only with the services described above, which help run this site, or when required by law.

How long I keep it

I keep your subscription details for as long as you are subscribed. I keep contact-form messages for as long as they are useful for our conversation. You can ask me to delete either at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email me at tony@skyward.org and I will take care of it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
